Both have their place, but interlock pavers flex with Ontario's freeze-thaw cycles instead of cracking the way a poured slab eventually does, and any single paver can be lifted and reset without leaving a visible patch. Interlock also gives you far more colour, texture and pattern to design with. For most of the driveways we build across the GTA, quality interlock is the longer-lasting and better-looking choice.

A properly built interlock surface lasts decades. The pavers themselves carry long manufacturer warranties from Unilock and Permacon, and the real lifespan comes down to the base beneath them, which is where we never cut corners. Top up the polymeric sand every few years and reseal periodically and the surface keeps looking and performing like new.

Typical driveways run 1 to 2 weeks on site, patios 1 to 3 weeks, and complete outdoor builds 3 to 6 weeks depending on scope and weather. We give you a schedule with your quote and tell you immediately if anything moves it.

During the design phase we walk you through the colours, finishes and formats that suit your home, so the materials are chosen for your project rather than whatever happens to be on the shelf.

Excavation to the right depth for the application, compacted granular base in lifts, screeded bedding sand, edge restraint and polymeric sand joints. It is the part of the job nobody photographs, and the reason our surfaces stay flat through freeze-thaw cycles.

Yes. Retaining walls, garden walls, pillars, steps and raised patios are core to what we do, both to hold back grade and to turn a sloped property into usable, level outdoor rooms. Taller structural walls are engineered and built to code, and we flag anything that needs a permit during design.

Yes. We lift settled or heaved pavers, correct the base and bedding underneath, reset the stones and refresh the joints so the surface sits flat and true again. If an older installation has failed across a larger area, we will tell you honestly whether a repair or a rebuild is the better investment.

Interlock is low maintenance. Sweep and rinse as needed, top up the polymeric sand in the joints every few years, and reseal periodically to protect the colour and make stains easier to lift. We leave you with simple care notes when the project is finished, and we can handle re-sanding and sealing for you on a schedule.

Most interlock and patio work does not require a permit. Retaining walls above a certain height, structures and some grading changes do. We flag anything that needs a permit during design and handle the drawings the municipality asks for.

Yes. Our workmanship is warrantied, and because we are certified installers with Unilock and Permacon, qualifying installations also carry manufacturer-backed warranties on the products themselves.
